Erdogan proposes meeting with Iran to Trump

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has proposed to US President Donald Trump to hold a trilateral summit with Iran.

Elchi.az reports that this was reported by Hande Fırat, a columnist for the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet.

“Erdogan made this proposal during a telephone conversation with Trump on January 27. It is possible to organize it via video conference. Trump responded positively to Erdogan’s proposal,” Fırat said.

According to her, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi will visit Turkey later this week to hold talks with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.
