The Federal Reserve System (FRS), which performs the functions of the central bank of the United States, has kept the base interest rate at 3.5-3.75%.
Elchi.az reports that this was stated in the statement of the Federal Open Market Operations Committee (FOMC) following the meeting.
It is noted that the FRS has previously reduced the interest rate three times in a row.
