Orban: Hungary will not send money to Ukraine

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has stated that his country will not send financial resources to Ukraine due to corruption.

Elchi.az reports that he shared this on the social network “X”.

“We will not send money to Ukraine — let this money stay with Hungarian families, not in the bathroom of a Ukrainian oligarch,” Orban wrote.

The politician also stated that he would not allow a ban on oil and gas imports from Russia. According to him, without this step, it is impossible to reduce utility costs and ensure affordable energy for Hungarian families.

In addition, Orban opposed Ukraine’s admission to the European Union (EU) within two years. In his opinion, this means a violation of EU laws.
