Mold and yeast fungi have been detected in 1680 kg of confectionery products imported from Iran to Azerbaijan.
Elchi.az reports that the information was provided by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency.
It was reported that within the framework of control measures, samples were taken from 1680 kg of nougat confectionery products produced by “Maryam Naderi Zarneh” company, imported from Iran by “Chinar Lunch Catering Service” LLC. As a result of laboratory tests, non-compliance was detected in terms of mold and yeast fungi indicators.
Based on the relevant decision made regarding the fact, the product batch was destroyed.
