Children’s right to liberty and personal inviolability is expanded.
According to Elchi.az, this was reflected in the new draft law “On the Rights of the Child”, which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Human Rights Committee of the Milli Majlis.
According to the project, except for cases established by law, a child cannot be monitored, subjected to video and photography, audio recording and other such actions. Except for cases established by law, the state guarantees the right to keep secret the information transmitted by children through correspondence, telephone conversations, mail, telegraph and other means of communication.
The scope of personal data related to children, as well as the conditions for their collection, processing, transmission, use and protection, are determined by law.
