Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova, has left for a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the 2nd Session of the Women’s Parliament Forum of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM).
This was reported to Elchi.az by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis.
At the Abu Dhabi International Airport, the parliamentary delegation headed by the Speaker of the Milli Majlis was met by Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council, Maryam bin Thaneya, Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council and Chairperson of the PAM Women’s Parliament Forum, Elchin Baghirov, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the UAE, and other officials.
During the visit, Sahiba Gafarova is scheduled to address the session of the PAM Women’s Parliament Forum and hold a number of meetings.
