European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has responded to the conclusion of a trade agreement between the European Union and India, calling it the mother of all deals.
Elchi.az reports that Prime Minister Narendra Modi previously announced that India and the European Union had agreed on the text of a free trade agreement on January 26.
“This is just the beginning. We will develop it further to strengthen our strategic relations,” the EC President wrote on social media X.
According to her, the deal will create a common market of two billion people and a quarter of global GDP.
