Barack Obama breaks his silence! Call to protest against Trump

Former US President Barack Obama broke his silence after the deaths in Minnesota as a result of federal agents’ intervention. Accusing the Trump administration of “creating chaos with illegal methods,” Obama called on all Americans to support peaceful protests across the country to protect fundamental freedoms and hold the government accountable.
Elchi.az reports that as the US state of Minnesota is shocked by the deaths of Alex Pretti and Rene Good during operations by federal forces, the strongest reaction came from former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama. In a written statement, Obama drew attention to the “masked and illegal” actions of federal agents and called on all Americans to support peaceful resistance in the streets.
“Protests should be a source of inspiration for each of us”
Obama’s most critical message in the statement was directed at ongoing protests across the country. Emphasizing the voice of the street in protecting democratic rights, Obama said:
“Every American should be inspired and supported by the wave of peaceful protests in Minneapolis and across the country. It is our duty to stand up against injustice, protect our freedoms and hold the government accountable.”
“Masked agents instill fear in the city”
Calling the presence of federal agents in Minneapolis a “sabotage,” Obama harshly criticized the tactics of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) officers and other federal agencies. Obama recalled that masked agents persecuted the public under a “shield of impunity,” resulting in the deaths of two US citizens.
Sending “video recordings” to the Trump administration
Calling the Trump administration’s statements about the events “meaningless,” the former president claimed that official claims directly contradicted video recordings. Obama claimed that the administration chose to escalate tensions instead of being disciplined and held accountable.
Call to “Work with Governors and Mayors”
Demanding “common sense” from the White House to prevent the crisis from deepening further, Obama stressed that federal agencies should stop clashes with local authorities and coordinate with them immediately.
