Azerbaijan extradited internationally wanted persons to Moldova and China.
Elchi.az reports that the General Prosecutor’s Office has released information about this.
It was reported that Firuz Farkhodovich Rustamov, a citizen of Uzbekistan born in 1991, who was internationally wanted by Moldova for violating traffic rules and the operation of vehicles, and Xu Pengcheng, a citizen of the country born in 1974, who was declared internationally wanted by China for engaging in illegal entrepreneurial activity, were identified in the country in 2025, and a detention measure was chosen for them.
The General Prosecutor’s Office sent the case to the Baku Serious Crimes Court to consider Moldova’s and China’s requests for the extradition of these persons. Relevant decisions were made regarding them, and they were handed over to Moldova and China under the escort of a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
