More than 1,600 homes in Kyiv left without heating after Russian attack

Residents of 1,676 multi-story buildings in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, were left without heating after the Russian attack on January 24.

Elchi.az reports that Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko shared this information on his Telegram channel.

He noted that communal service and energy workers have restored heating to more than 1,600 homes since last night.

“Due to the damage to the vital infrastructure, about 6,000 houses in the capital were left without heating again yesterday,” Klitschko wrote.

He added that utility workers are continuing their work to fully restore heating in the capital.

It should be reminded that as a result of the fire of Russian forces on January 20, more than 5,600 multi-story buildings in Kyiv were left without heating.
