Turan Manafov, a footballer playing for the South African Republic (SAR) club “Stellenbosch”, may return to Azerbaijan.
Elchi.az reports that the 27-year-old defender is in negotiations with “Gabala”.
This was stated by Gabala’s coach, George Chixradze, at a press conference after their 4-0 away victory against “Shamakhi” in the XVII round of the Azerbaijan Premier League.
It should be noted that Turan Manafov has been playing for Stellenbosch since the summer of 2025. He has appeared in 9 matches for the SAR representative this season. Before this club, Manafov defended the honor of “Kapaz”.
