Actress of the Azerbaijan State National Academic Theatre of Young Spectators, Masuma Babayeva, has passed away.
This was reported to Elchi.az by Samira Ashraf, the head of the press service of the Azerbaijan State National Academic Theatre of Young Spectators.
She stated that the actress passed away this evening after a long illness.
It should be noted that the actress was born on September 23, 1951. She studied at the faculty of drama and film acting at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts. After graduating from the institute in 1972, she was assigned to the Young Spectators Theater. In 2014, the actress was awarded the “Honorary Cultural Worker” badge, in 2016 the “Sanatkar” medal of the Azerbaijan Union of Theater Workers, and in 2018 the “Progress” medal.
