Who is the “3rd person” Trump sent to meet with Putin?

The Kremlin has announced the arrival of a three-member American delegation to negotiate with the Russian president: Josh Gruenbaum, commissioner of the Federal Procurement Service of the US General Services Administration, along with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Elchi.az reports that US President Donald Trump recently appointed Gruenbaum as chief advisor to the Peace Council he created.

39-year-old Josh Gruenbaum is Jewish, his grandfather lost all family members in the Holocaust.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from New York University’s Business School. He then worked for four years at Moelis Investment Bank, and then moved to KKR Investment Company.

Before joining the Trump administration, he specialized in restructuring, mergers and acquisitions at several law firms. Gruenbaum holds a law degree and an MBA and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Gruenbaum has previously participated in Russian-American negotiations, but at a lower level – last fall he was at the negotiations between Witkoff and Kirill Dmitriev, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, in Miami.
