At least five killed, injured in Pakistan wedding blast

At least five people were killed and 10 more injured in a suicide bombing in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan.

According to reports, the terrorist detonated an explosive device at a wedding ceremony held at the home of a local community leader on Thursday.

The injured were taken to hospital.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. He ordered that all necessary assistance be provided to the injured and that a thorough investigation be conducted into the incident.
