“The old world order is collapsing.”
Elchi.az reports that this was stated by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz during his speech at the World Economic Forum.
He declared that the era of great power politics has arrived. At the same time, he called for this new reality to be accepted as fate:
“This new world of great powers is built on power… This is not a comfortable place,” Merz stated.
He called on European allies to come closer together against the backdrop of Russia and China’s changing roles and the challenge to US leadership. The German Chancellor also stated that the people of Denmark and Greenland can count on our solidarity.
