Mexico: We will continue to send oil to Cuba

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has stated that they will continue to send oil to Cuba, which is under US blockade.
Elchi.az reports that Sheinbaum, speaking at a daily press conference at the National Palace, expressed her support for Cuba, which is under US blockade and whose energy transportation from Venezuela has been suspended.
Sheinbaum said, “We are always ready to support Cuba with oil and humanitarian aid. If Mexico can contribute to creating better conditions for Cuba, we will always be there. This is a relationship built with the Cuban people who live in very difficult conditions.”
Reminding that Mexico’s foreign policy is based on the principles of fraternity, Sheinbaum said: “This is not against the people, because the amount sent is really very small. A very small part of what is produced is sent, but this is support for the purpose of solidarity.”
On the other hand, a tanker loaded with approximately 86,000 barrels of fuel from Mexico has reached the bay of Havana, the capital of Cuba.
