Kazakhstan has joined the Peace Council on Gaza at the invitation of US President Donald Trump without paying a financial fee.
Elchi.az reports that the Press Service of the President of Kazakhstan has released information about this.
“Kazakhstan has joined the Peace Council without paying any financial fees, which is in full compliance with the provisions of the charter,” the statement said.
It was noted that the voluntary membership fee of $1 billion mentioned in the charter is not a requirement.
“This is the right of every participant. If such a payment is made during the first year, that state gets the opportunity to stay on the council for more than the specified three-year period,” the statement said.
