Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, has announced a decrease in gasoline prices in the country.
Elchi.az reports that Papoyan posted this information on his Facebook page.
According to him, the decrease in gasoline prices is approximately 15%.
“Gasoline price: at the beginning of December – 510 drams/l (approximately 2 manats 30 kopecks – ed.), now – 430 drams/l (approximately 1 manat 93 kopecks – ed.). Difference – 80 drams/l or -15.7%.
Diesel price: at the beginning of December – 480 drams/l, now – 410 drams/l, difference – 70 drams/l or -14.6%,” the minister wrote.
He noted that one of the large gas station chains that also buys oil products from Azerbaijan will soon put fuel on sale at even lower prices.
Earlier, he spoke on Armenian Public Television about the first economic results of the peace process with Azerbaijan.
It is worth recalling that on January 11, Azerbaijan sent fuel to Armenia for the third time .
