The list of medical services included in the Service Package for Compulsory Health Insurance has been expanded.
According to Elchi.az, the Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision on this matter.
Adaptation of hearing aids (1 session (4 times adjustment of the speech processor after the annual use of the cochlear prosthesis (fitting), including consultation), other non-operative hearing procedures (external components of the cochlear prosthesis) replacement of the sound (speech) processor currently used by the cochlear prosthesis user with a model one level higher (provided that it has been used for a minimum of 5 (five) years) (including consultation) and Other non-operative hearing procedures (external components of the cochlear prosthesis) replacement of the sound (speech) processor currently used by the cochlear prosthesis user with the same model sound (speech) processor (excluding kits) if it is unusable (including consultation), (unless otherwise provided by the manufacturer’s warranty conditions, provided that it has been used for a minimum of 1 (one) year) have been included in the Service Package.
