Due to the frosty weather and snowfall in the capital Baku since noon on January 20, the Baku City and capital region executive authorities and the city’s communal services are working in an enhanced mode.
Elchi.az was informed about this by the Baku City Executive Authority (BCEH).
It was reported that operational measures are being taken to clear the snow that has been falling since yesterday.
“In this regard, technical salt was sprinkled on inclined places, streets and avenues with the possibility of slipping by special-purpose equipment of the services at night and in the morning, and snow removal works were carried out on sidewalks and public yards where icing was observed,” the report said.
