Power supply will be suspended in some areas of the Babek region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on January 22.
According to the local bureau of Elchi.az, planned repair and restoration work will be carried out by the Nakhchivan Regional Energy Supply and Sales Department (RETSİ) of “Azerishiq” OJSC.
In this regard, 35 kV Nehram and 35 kV Havalimanı power lines fed from Araz HPP will be opened based on an agreed order. For this reason, there will be a temporary interruption in the supply of electricity in the villages of Nehram, Araz, Arazin, Bananiyar, Abraqunus, Saltaq, Milax, Arafsa, Laketag, Kirna and Alinja from 11:00 to 12:00.
It should be noted that the repair works are carried out to strengthen energy supply systems, increase reliability and conduct technical inspections. Within this framework, it is planned to carry out phased repair works on power lines and substations at various addresses.
