According to the National Hydrometeorology Service, Elchi.az reports that sleet and snow are falling in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Nakhchivan AR, Gazakh-Ganja, Balakan-Shaki, Guba-Gusar, Mountainous-Shirvan, Central Aran, and Lankaran-Astara zones. Precipitation is intense and heavy in most places.
The air temperature is up to 2 degrees Celsius in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 1 degree Celsius in the Aran regions, 6 degrees Celsius in the Nakhchivan AR, 7 degrees Celsius in the mountainous regions, and up to 12 degrees Celsius in the high mountainous areas.
