President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with CEO of Carlsberg Group Jacob Aarup-Andersen in Davos on January 19.
Elchi.az reports that during the conversation, it was noted that a number of projects have already been implemented in the direction of producing a product based on completely local raw materials.
In this regard, the operation of the barley processing plant in Imishli, which is the main raw material in beer production, was touched upon. It was reported that in the future, the production of packaging materials will also be fully localized.
Jacob Aarup-Andersen emphasized that the export of products manufactured by Carlsberg Group in Azerbaijan increased significantly in 2025.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the conditions created for foreign investors in Azerbaijan.
