The death toll from the derailment of two high-speed trains in Spain has risen to 41.

Earlier, it was reported that the number of deaths was 39.
The incident occurred on the evening of January 18 in the Adamus settlement. A train belonging to the company “Iryo” carrying approximately 300 people from Malaga to Madrid derailed and fell onto the adjacent road, and a train of the railway operator “Renfe” traveling from Madrid to Huelva was moving on that road. The second train also derailed. The causes of what happened are not yet known, and an investigation is underway.
