US President Donald Trump has reiterated that he believes his main limitation in the international arena is his morality.
Elchi.az reports that he said this in an interview with CBS.
When asked what limits him in making decisions in the international arena, he said, “I’m talking about morality; I am a highly moral person. I don’t like watching death, and I don’t like watching our people suffer.”
“We didn’t suffer any losses when we went to Venezuela, but on the other hand, many people died. I don’t like that,” Trump continued. “So, yes, [decision-making] is limited by morality, and I have very high moral standards, so that’s what it’s all about,” the White House chief said.
To a further question about whether his powers as commander-in-chief are limited by the US Constitution and the courts, Trump replied, “That goes without saying.”
