The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has announced its forecast for average daily global oil demand for 2027.
Elchi.az reports this with reference to OPEC’s monthly report.
According to the report, the average daily global oil demand next year will be 107.86 million barrels, which is 1.34 million barrels more than the forecast for 2026.
According to the forecast, this year the mentioned indicator is projected to be 106.52 million barrels (the forecast has not changed), which is 1.38 million barrels more than the 2025 indicator (105.14 million barrels).
It should be reminded that in 2024, the global daily oil demand averaged 103.84 million barrels.
