Death toll updated in Iranian protests

The identities of 2,403 people killed in the general protests that have been going on in Iran for 17 days have been determined. It has not been possible to clarify the identity of 779 people who were reported killed.

Elchi.az reports that this was stated by the Iranian Human Rights Organization.

147 of those killed were government officials, 12 were minors, and 9 were civilians who did not participate in the protests.

In addition, 18,434 people were arrested and transferred to various prisons.
