Relations between Europe and the US have weakened, but the EU is not ready to “retreat 80 years in transatlantic relations.”
Elchi.az reports that this was stated by the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, at a press conference during her visit to Berlin.
“The United States of America is an indispensable ally of Europe. Our relations are not in the best condition today,” she said.
Kallas expressed her confidence that Europe “does not intend to retreat 80 years in transatlantic relations.” She believes that “the US and the EU are stronger together” when solving all international problems. Kallas specifically called for working with the US on the Greenland issue.
