Great Britain and France do not want to send troops to Ukraine without the support of the United States.
Elchi.az reports that this was reported by the Financial Times newspaper, citing sources.
An unnamed EU official said that “None of this will happen without the US… Trump’s position is still unclear.”
The publication does not indicate whether British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron intend to simply obtain support from US President Donald Trump for the deployment of European troops to Ukraine, or to obtain a promise that US troops will also be sent there.
