According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning, the Chinese authorities are against potential US interference in Iran’s internal affairs.
Elchi.az reports that “We have consistently opposed US interference in the internal politics of other countries,” she said at a briefing, commenting on the prospects of the American authorities using military force against the Islamic Republic.
As the official representative clarified, Beijing supports Tehran’s efforts to ensure national stability.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump imposed a 25% duty on all countries doing business with Iran. This happened after a wave of protests in the Islamic Republic, which accused the US and Israel of organizing the riots. The American leader has not ruled out the use of force against Tehran.
