US President Trump made a new statement regarding intervention in Iran. Continuing his threats against the Tehran administration, Trump said that the American army is evaluating options against Iran.
Elchi.az reports that Trump, who returned to the White House, answered journalists’ questions about international developments related to Air Force One.
US President Trump said that Iran is “starting to cross the red line” and that he will not comment on “when, where or how” they will act against the Tehran administration.
Stating that he receives “hourly” reports about the protests in Iran, Trump said about the Iranian leaders: “They are not leaders. They rule by violence. We take this very seriously. The army is also investigating this and we have very strong options on the table.”
Trump said that Iran contacted the US the day before and offered to negotiate a nuclear deal, “We can talk to them. A meeting is being organized. However, due to what is happening (the demonstrations in the country), we may have to take action before the meeting.”
Trump also said that when it was reminded that the Iranian people do not have access to the Internet and are isolated from the world, he talked to Elon Musk and may reactivate the Internet in the country via Starlink.
