Temporary additional customs duties have been determined for iron reinforcing bars and glass sheets.
Elchi.az reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a resolution in this regard.
According to the resolution, a customs duty of 150 manats will be applied for 1 ton of rods made of iron or non-alloy steel (iron reinforcing bars), and 100 manats for 1 ton of glass sheets classified under various nomenclature codes.
This Resolution shall be applied from January 2, 2026, and shall be valid until June 30, 2026.
It should be noted that in this case, based on the confirming document of the Ministry of Economy, import as raw materials for production purposes in industrial parks by legal entities that are residents of industrial parks located in the liberated territories will be excluded.
