Iran’s parliament began an emergency session on Sunday amid widespread protests that have killed more than 110 people in the country.
Elchi.az reports that the Associated Press (AP) reported this.
“Iran’s parliament convened on Sunday to discuss ongoing protests that have rocked the country. Lawmakers once flocked to the podium to chant ‘Death to America!'”, the report said.
It should be noted that protests continue in 185 cities of 31 provinces of Iran. Thus, 116 people died in the demonstrations, seven of them under the age of 18, and four were medical workers who provided assistance to the wounded.
