A fire broke out in a multi-story residential building on A. Vahid Street, Masazir settlement, Absheron region.
This was reported to Elchi.az by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
The forces of the State Fire Protection and Special Risk Rescue Services of the MES were involved in the area.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the fire that occurred in the electrical shaft of the eleven-story residential building was extinguished in a short time without allowing it to spread, including to the apartments.
As a result of the fire, 30 p.m. of electrical wires burned along the shaft.
As part of security measures, 25 residents of the building, including 10 minors, were evacuated.
One person was poisoned by smoke.
The apartments and residential building were protected from fire.
