In the operations carried out by the gendarmerie units in 34 provinces of Turkey in the last two weeks, 77 people were detained as suspects.
Elchi.az reports with reference to foreign media that the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey, Ali Yerlikaya, shared this information on his official “X” account.
The minister noted that 77 suspects detained during the operations were found to be operating in the current structure of the terrorist organization, contacting responsible persons within the organization through payphones, providing financial resources to aid organizations allegedly affiliated with the terrorist organization, and promoting the terrorist organization through social media accounts.
According to the information, 43 of those detained were placed under arrest.
