Elchi.az, referring to “Khazar Khazar,” reports that the bus in question is the route number 206, which carries passengers from the Elmler Akademiyasi metro station to the Lokbatan settlement.
According to passengers, the buses are still running, even though their service life has expired.
They claim that sometimes, malfunctions in the bus have even created dangerous situations.
Regarding the claims, the carrier company stated that a new tender has been held and another carrier company has won the tender. The transportation will be carried out by that company in the near future.
The Land Transport Agency also stated that the route number 206 was put up for competition some time ago due to the lack of regular operation, and the winner has been announced. New buses will start operating on the route in the near future.
