Russian UAVs hit two merchant ships off the coast of Ukraine, one person died

Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) hit a ship carrying a cargo of soybeans under the flag of the Comoros near the port of Odessa, killing a crew member who was a Syrian citizen.

Elchi.az reports that the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Oleksiy Kuleba, shared this information on his Telegram channel.

According to him, rescue units were sent to the scene.

Kuleba also noted that a Russian attack drone also struck another ship under the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis, which was heading to the port of Chernomorsk with a cargo of grain. It is reported that the ship is currently moving towards the nearest port.
