The Syrian Ministry of Interior (DIN) has announced the detention of Nabiq Zaki al-Kutmish, one of the military leaders of the ISIS terrorist organization known as “Jabir” in Aleppo.

Elchi.az reports that this was reported by SANA.

According to the information, his detention took place as a result of an operation carried out two days ago in the Aleppo province.

According to the agency, special units raided his shelter. After a direct clash, security forces took control of the facility and arrested the terrorist without any casualties among the personnel. A ready-to-use “kamikaze belt” and several weapons were found on the detainee.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that al-Kutmish is considered one of the most important military leaders of ISIS, and he planned and led a number of terrorist acts in Syria.

It was reported that he was also responsible for an attempted attack on one of the churches in Aleppo.
