The US Embassy in Kyiv has warned of a large-scale strike being prepared by Russian troops against Ukrainian territory in the coming days.
Elchi.az reports with reference to the Ukrainian media that this was reported on the website of the diplomatic mission.
“The US Embassy in Kyiv has received information about a potential serious air strike that could occur at any time in the next few days. The Embassy urges US citizens to be ready to take shelter immediately if an air alert is announced, as always,” the statement said.
It was noted that the warning covers the entire territory of Ukraine.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a statement about a possible Russian strike tonight.
“There were reports from all services eliminating the consequences of Russian strikes within 24 hours. According to reports, Russia is preparing a new massive air attack. Today and tomorrow it is very important to pay attention to air alerts all the time, to go down to shelters. Russian troops are trying to take advantage of the weather as usual. I have instructed the government to provide maximum assistance to local authorities, to everyone involved,” the Ukrainian leader noted.
