Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that the law on presidential elections during wartime could be adopted in February of this year.
Elchi.az reports that his words were quoted by “RBC-Ukraine.”
He noted that this will depend on the results of peace talks and the work of the working group of the Verkhovna Rada.
“I think that if we can do all this in January, then February could definitely be a busy month for legislative changes,” he said.
According to the Ukrainian leader, a lot will depend on the deputies, as they must demonstrate their work and results in terms of developments, as well as changes in electoral legislation, the code, or the law on referendum.
