As of January 01, 2026, the monetary base in Azerbaijan amounted to 22 billion 470.2 million manats.
Elchi.az reports this with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
According to the information, the monetary base increased by 1.5% or 341.8 million manats in the last month.
In annual comparison, the monetary base increased by 7.4% or 1 billion 553.7 million manats.
It should be noted that the composition of the monetary base includes cash in circulation and bank reserves (free bank and mandatory reserves of commercial banks).
