A 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwestern China.
Elchi.az reports that according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), a 5.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the early hours of the day, and its epicenter was in the Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous Region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
According to initial reports, the earthquake, which was recorded at a depth of approximately 10 kilometers, did not cause any casualties or damage. The statement said that local transportation and communication networks and the electricity grid were not affected by the earthquake, and daily life and production activities continued normally.
