128 million 255 thousand 862 manats worth of smuggled goods were seized on the state border of Azerbaijan last year.
Elchi.az reports that this was noted at the reporting meeting of the State Border Service on the results of service-combat activities in 2025.
It was reported that last year, the structural units of the State Border Service, as well as other law enforcement agencies, prevented the illegal crossing of 4 tons 311 kilograms 864 grams of narcotic drugs, 78 thousand 457 psychotropic and potent pills, and 128 million 255 thousand 862 manats worth of smuggled goods across the state border.
In addition, 24 tons 585 kilograms of narcotic plants were destroyed.
