Nine Injured in Earthquake in Japan

At least nine people have been injured in Japan as a result of a 6.4 magnitude earthquake that struck western Japan on Tuesday, January 6.
Elchi.az reports that the “Kyodo” news agency reported this.
Nine residents of Shimane, Tottori, Okayama, and Hiroshima prefectures sustained injuries of varying degrees. It is emphasized that their lives are not in danger.
A 6.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in western Japan, with the epicenter in Shimane and Tottori prefectures and the focus at a depth of 10 km. Initially, an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 was recorded, but later Japanese seismologists lowered it to 6.4. No emergencies were recorded at nuclear facilities in the region. Japanese seismologists warn of the possibility of stronger tremors in the coming week and urge local residents to be vigilant.
