Elchi.az reports that the Ministry of Health’s Coordination Center for Organ Donation and Transplantation provided this information in response to APA’s inquiry.
It was reported that approximately 100 kidney and 60 liver transplantations were among these operations: “At the same time, 2 heart transplantations, approximately 30 bone marrow transplantations, and approximately 130 corneal transplantations were performed.”
It was noted that more than approximately 50 of these transplantation operations were performed on children, and approximately 300 on adults.
