There will be 13 non-working days in March

In March 2026, Azerbaijan is expected to have 13 non-working days due to public holidays and weekends.

Elchi.az reports with reference to Trend that March 8, International Women’s Day, falls on a Sunday, so March 9 will also be a non-working day.

In addition, there will be long holidays in March due to Novruz holiday and Ramadan holiday.

According to the requirements of the Labor Code, additional days of rest have been determined due to the coincidence of holidays with Saturdays and Sundays.

Thus, March 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 are considered non-working days as Novruz holiday days. Since March 21 and 22 fall on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, March 25 and 26 will also be non-working days.

As a result of the overlap of Ramadan holiday on March 20 and 21 with Novruz days, March 27 and 30 will also be considered non-working days.

March 28 and 29 will also fall on Saturday and Sunday of the week, respectively.

As a result, March 25, 26, 27 and 30 will also be non-working days.

Thus, there will be 11 consecutive non-working days in the country from March 20 to March 30 (including both days).

In total, 13 non-working days will be recorded in March 2026.
