German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will visit India from January 11-13.
Elchi.az reports that this was announced by German government spokesman Sebastian Hille.
“Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive the Chancellor in Ahmedabad, his home state of Gujarat. Bilateral and international issues will be discussed during the meeting,” he said.
After that, Merz will go to Bangalore, where, among other events, he will meet with representatives of German companies. The Chancellor will be accompanied by an economic delegation throughout the visit.
