Armed clash occurs on Iran-Pakistan border

An armed clash has occurred on the Iran-Pakistan border.

Iranian media writes that Reza Shojaei, commander of the Sistan and Baluchistan Border Guard division, has made a statement regarding the issue. According to him, an armed clash occurred between border guards and “terrorists trying to enter the country” on Iran’s border with Pakistan:

“During the clash, the terrorists suffered heavy losses, and the fleeing individuals left behind a large number of weapons and ammunition at the scene.”

Shojaei noted that during a search of the scene, 4 Kalashnikov assault rifles, 1 pistol, 10 SPG-9 shells, 2 hand grenades, 3 RPG-7 grenades, 20 sniper cartridges, 232 Grenov machine gun cartridges, 132 Kalashnikov cartridges, 10 Kalashnikov magazines, and 1 pistol magazine were discovered and confiscated.
