The Technical Committee on Standardization (AZSTAND/TK21) “In the field of labor”, chaired by the State Labor Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, continues to prepare state standards related to labor safety.
Elchi.az reports that the ministry released information about this.
It was reported that last year, 110 more state standards were developed and approved by the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute as state standards.
The standards were prepared in accordance with the requirements of the International Labor Organization’s Convention No. 155 “On Occupational Safety and Health”.
They serve to ensure healthy working conditions in workplaces, organize working conditions in accordance with modern requirements, improve labor safety rules and adapt them to international experience.
Thus, the number of state standards related to labor safety developed and approved by the Committee has reached 167.
