The Saudi Arabian Air Force has carried out a series of airstrikes on the airport in Seyun city, in the Hadramawt province, eastern Yemen.

According to reports, Salah al-Akel, the Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Yemen, confirmed the strikes on the airport.
It is noted that Saudi Arabian planes launched at least three strikes on the airport, and strong explosions were heard in the city.
Earlier, Salem al-Hanbashi, the governor of eastern Hadramawt, announced the start of an operation to hand over military camps under the control of the Southern Transitional Council to government forces. He stated that the “Homeland Shield” units had recaptured the camp of the 37th Brigade, a major stronghold in the Al-Hasha district in the west of the province, drove out the separatist forces from there, and began to advance towards Seyun city.
